Adam@Home (formerly known as Adam) is a syndicated comic strip created by Brian Basset and currently drawn by Rob Harrell. Started in 1984 it follows the life of Adam Newman a stay-at-home dad as he juggles his family and career. Originally focusing on office-place humor the comic’s tone shifted when Adam became a stay-at-home consultant.
Basset drew the daily strip from its inception until February 21 2009 when he decided to focus on his other daily strip Red and Rover. Oh I love sweater vests on guys.. a lot of girls do. So.. to dress it down as little as possible and still look good just go with a regular white t-shirt underneath (v-neck if the vest is v-neck) or a long sleeved t-shirt with the sleeves rolled or pushed up a bit to look more casual. The books feature autostereograms (precisely random dot autostereogram) which allow people to see 3D images by focusing on 2D patterns. Only an artist could put these two together and make them sing. I lay witness to this upon espying the great Vancouver artist Attila Richard Lukacs perched atop a barstool at the Fourth Avenue bistro Pastis.
I was there at the invite of artist Shannon Belkin who had arranged a pre-Christmas get-together with Attila for dinner and a little conversation on the art scene mixed with some spicy talk of those at the helm of Vancouver’s galleries.

Patrick Bruce “Pat” Oliphant (b. July 24 1935 in Adelaide Australia) is the most widely syndicated political cartoonist in the world described by the New York Times as “the most influential cartoonist now working”. His trademark is a small penguin character named Punk who is often seen making a sarcastic comment about the subject of the panel.
Oliphant’s career which spans over fifty years began in 1952 as a copyboy with the Adelaide News. He continued in the newspaper business in Australia until he emigrated to the United States in 1964.
Once in the U.S. he first worked at The Denver Post. His strip was nationally syndicated and internationally syndicated in 1965. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1967 for his February 1 1966 cartoon They Won’t Get Us To The Conference Table … Will They. Oliphant moved to the now defunct Washington Star for six years until the paper folded in 1981.
Oliphant’s work has appeared in several exhibitions most notably at the National Portrait Gallery. He has also crafted a series of small sculptures based on his caricatures of various political figures which have been displayed alongside his drawings in some exhibitions.

Ya know how some people dress in pastels and bright colors and wear argyle sweater vests and they are labeled “preppy” You know how some people are emo goth scene Girly-girls valley girls prissy girls hippies sluts tomboys nerds dorks geeks dweebs ect
What would I be
-I am a girl.
-I have light brown hair and it’s medium length. Sometimes I keep it long and I am thinking about cutting it short lol like it matters. And I have bangs (not really long like covering my face normal length) and I sometimes wear them as side bangs.
-I do not wear make-up. I mean some girls wear bright red or really pink lipstick or tons of sparkly lip gloss or heavy eye make-up I don’t.
-I have glasses. Not round ones. Like oval-ish rectangles I don’t wear like crazy neon colors but not just black. I wear darker colors like dark purple brown blue (navy). But I kind of want to try something like light blue or pink just to be different!
-I am energetic and crazy and different. I don’t really like wearing all the same things but I don’t like trying weird new stuff so I don’t get made fun of.
-Sometimes I can’t make up my mind!
-I wear graphic tees (with like characters or words on them. Nothing “trying to be cool” or nothing like “inappropriate”.) I wear Delia’s mostly. Like Minnie Mouse The Beatles all Breakfast cereal people on a shirt!! Lol! I like it! I wear vintage shirts. Like Coca-Cola-75th Anniversary! Like stuff from the 60′s 70′s. 80′s LOL. But I don’t consider myself a Hippie-hippie am I I thought only a little but. And I am not Madonna or Cindi Lauper!! Lol! I aslo wear like David & Goliath tees I think they are soo cute! I don’t really wear puppy tees even tho I LOVE dogs I just wouldn’t wear a tee with a puppy on it. I also wear tees with designs. Polka dots stripes and tie dye. I also wear like inspiring tees peace love happiness stay strong. And I wear pretty stuff like with flowers and butterflies. But not really childish clothes but not mature.
-I am not a jeans person. But if I do wear them I usually wear light wash flare jeans. I guess I am a hippie right And just to be fun I have 3 pairs of colorful skinny jeans (pink purple blue). But I usually don’t wear them a lot. And since it is summer I have a pair of jean capris and bermudas. Dark wash. But I really prefer my flare jeans (but more in the winter).
-SO I usually wear shorts. Only the jeans sometimes. I wear them to dance (lots of ppl wear sweatpants). I wear them inside the house at friends house in the summer (instead of dresses or coverup).
-Sometimes when I’m going out to a restaurant with my friends or sometimes even the movies I wear fun skorts! Like ruffles (tiered) fun colors plaid floral!
-I don’t really wear dresses. Every once in a while. Like on special holidays my mom MAKES me wear fancy stuff. And on occasion in the summer I might wear the occasionally (lol) sundress.
-I don’t wear a bunch of jewelry but I do wear scarves. Lots of them.
-I like hats like fedoras but I don’t really wear them. Every once in a while with my friends. I like cabbies but they just don’t look right on me.
- I mostly wear a graphic tee with bermuda shorts and a scarf.
-I usually wear flip flops because of the weather where I live and they are so easy to put on. But I LOVE sneakers (converse) and boots (fringe lace up). And I love sneakers and flip flops with designs.
-If it’s like fall or spring or winter and I’m not wearing a scarf I’m wearing a jacket.
Yupp… so how would you label me

James Jackson Kilpatrick (November 1 1920 15 August 2010) was a retired American columnist and grammarian.
Kilpatrick was born and raised in Oklahoma City and received his degree in journalism from the University of Missouri in 1941. He spent many years as an editor of The Richmond News Leader in Richmond Virginia. During the 1950s and 1960s he was noted as a fervent segregationist and an advocate of the states’ rights doctrine of interposition arguing that the states had the right to oppose and even nullify federal court rulings on the subject. Kilpatrick’s arguments against segregation were not solely based on federalism though. In 1963 he submitted an article for the Saturday Evening Post entitled “The Hell He Is Equal” in which he wrote that the “Negro race as a race is in fact an inferior race.” (The article was spiked by the magazine’s editors out of sensitivity concerns after four black girls were killed in the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing.) He eventually began to conceal his position on segregation though he remained a staunch opponent of actual or perceived federal encroachments upon the individual states.
Kilpatrick began writing his syndicated political column “A Conservative View” in 1964 and left the News Leader in 1966.

Yes i seen this question so many times.
But well i was always tomboy-ish. And now i want to become girly. Sort of. But then now i wanted to wear these out fit. And wonder if it looks good.

you cant use 2 bold patterns on the top and the bottom it clashes. either wear some jeans or a jean skirt even with the top or a plain white tee with the skirt.

The Diverse City Band also known as Diverse Citizens is the road band for Grammy Award winning Christian hip hop artist tobyMac. In 2007 they recorded their first single as a band; “Party (Citizens Come Out)”. The song is featured on the Hip Hop compilation album “Hip Hope 2008″. Deshon “Shonlock” Bullock has become the first of the group to emerge as a prominent solo artist signing a record deal in 2009. The Band is Diverse since most of the band members come from different backgrounds have different styles of music and all have a strong stance against racism. Toby has been doing run for hope ever since 2009 where people come and run miles to help the community it is led by Toby and Amanda McKeehan. The band also does dc Talk songs in concert such as “In the Light” and “Jesus Freak”.

Disposable income for practically everyone has been cut and we all find ourselves spending less and less money every month. One thing all Americans love to do is shop for clothes. Clothes are the first impression you leave on people and I am sure all of our mother’s have said at one time or another “Dress for success”. However clothes can run our bank accounts dry if we cannot find the right deals.
The Far Side is a popular single-panel comic created by Gary Larson and syndicated by Universal Press Syndicate which ran from January 1 1980 to January 1 1995. Its surrealistic humor is often based on uncomfortable social situations improbable events an anthropomorphic view of the world logical fallacies impending bizarre disasters or the search for meaning in life. Larson’s frequent use of animals and nature in the comic is popularly attributed to his background in biology. Reruns are still printed in many newspapers.
The Far Side was carried by more than 1900 daily newspapers translated into 17 languages and collected into calendars and 22 compilation books.
The series was preceded by a similar panel called Nature’s Way also by Larson.
The comic
Most The Far Side cartoons are a single rectangular panel occasionally split into small sections of four six or eight for the purposes of a storyline. A caption or dialogue usually appears under the panel as typed text although word-balloons are sometimes used for conversations. Sunday comics were double-sized done in watercolor or colored pencils with captions handwritten in Larson’s own cursive.
Most of Larson’s comics relied on some combination of a visual and verbal gag rather than just one or the other.
